Saj Ghafoor OBE
Saj is the Director of Strategy & Partnerships of Multicultural Cumbria, which was a catalyst for the activities of Multicultural Cumbria. She is wife and mother of four grown-up children and eight grandchildren
Jo Collin
Jo joined the Multicultural Cumbria team in May 2021 and has made a huge impact on keeping the organisation in order.
Emma Montourcy
Emma joined MCC in February 2025 as an intern. She is a student at Burgundy University in Dijon, France, in Translation and Multimedia Accessibility. Emma is gaining expertise in languages, accessibility, and cultural mediation.
Laura Cooper
Laura joined MCC in June 2022 as Asylum Seeker and Refugee Coordinator. She works with and supports the residents of both asylum hotels in Carlisle with volunteer opportunities, social and wellbeing activities
