EDI Lead within Cumbria Scouts.  July 2023 to present. 

District Commissioner Cumbria Scouts – up to June 2023

Our Asylum Seeker and Refugee Coordinator Laura has volunteered to lead the EDI team within Cumbria Scouts. Cumbria Scouts Lead Volunteer Eddie Ward says “Laura is passionate about Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and brings her experience as a former District Commissioner and her experience from her work life”.

Laura hopes to ensure that Scouting is open to all regardless of gender,  disability, nationality or heritage, or sexual orientation.
