Project Description

Nari Naser

Apprenticeship Coordinator at a logistics company

Budapest (Hungary), Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Dubai and the UK since 2012

Moving to the UK

I was born in Budapest, in Hungary, where my Mom is originally from. My Dad is from Jordan. I have lived in Hungary with Mom, and in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Dubai with Dad. I’ve been living in the UK since 2012.

What has been your involvement with MCC?

I attended a few of the Dance Carousel sessions with my mom and sister, they were fun! I was familiar with Egyptian dancing, from my time living in Jordan so I enjoyed dancing with Sally. I also attended the Culture Bazaar in 2019 and 2020 and both times were amazing, lovely food and friendly vibe:)

Hobbies and Lockdown Life

I am an Apprenticeship Coordinator at a logistic company. During lockdown I have kept myself busy with baking, DIY, Spring Cleaning and exercising.

The picture on the left, is Nari, aged 27, standing in front of the Millennium Monument at Hősök tere (Heroes’ Square), one of the most photographed sights in Budapest. The monument was created for the Hungarian millennium festivities that were held in 1896.

Nari with her mom, Henriett Horvath, the Dance Carousel ladies known as ‘Heni’. Heni has been to nearly all of the dance classes!
